Rename a process

How can I change the name of a running process?

Click directly on the process name at the top of any running process and type a new name - that’s it. You can rename processes anytime after they’re launched to keep things organized.

  1. Find and open the running process you want to rename (from the Tracker view works great).
  2. Click directly on the current process name at the top of the process view.
  3. The name becomes editable. Type your new name.
  4. Press Enter to save.

Running processes in Tallyfy can be modified after launch through the Settings panel where users can change the process name owner deadline tags folder location and notes while also accessing options to archive export or delete the process depending on their permissions and role.

Tracking And Tasks > More about processes

A process in Tallyfy is a single execution instance of a template blueprint that represents actual work being done with its own unique identity activity log and ability to be tracked and modified independently from the original template.

Processes > Edit processes

Running processes can be modified after launch by adding tasks changing assignees or due dates renaming the process instance and archiving completed runs while preserving the original template structure.
