Members in Tallyfy are your organization’s users (employees or contractors) who hold one of three roles — Administrator for full control and Standard for daily workflow tasks and Light for task-only access — with each role determining what areas and features that person can reach within the platform.
Account and member limits
Tallyfy has two member roles with different capabilities:
- Full Members - Can access all features, including creating and editing templates. Includes Admin and Standard roles.
- Light Members - Can only complete assigned tasks and participate in launched processes. They can’t create or edit templates.
An optional Data Feed add-on for Tallyfy Analytics is also available.

Tallyfy’s free 14-day trial has these limits:
- 10 members per account
- 10 guests per account
- 100 total task assignments across all processes
- 10 processes running at the same time

- Members - People in your organization (employees, contractors). They’re assigned Full or Light roles.
- Guests - People outside your organization (clients, vendors, partners) who only complete specific tasks. Guest access is unlimited and free.

Light members in Tallyfy are a role introduced in October 2024 that lets task-focused users like field workers and contractors log in and complete assigned work and view processes without the ability to create or edit templates while administrators can selectively grant them launch permission for specific templates.
Members > Standard and admin members
Tallyfy offers three member roles where Administrators have full account control including billing and settings and people management while Standard members can create templates and run processes with Admin-granted permissions and Light members serve as a lower-cost option limited to completing assigned tasks only.
Tallyfy offers transparent and predictable pricing with annual and monthly billing options along with two member tiers (Full and Light) to control costs and includes a credit-based billing system through Recurly plus a Fair Price Guarantee for eligible countries and nonprofit discounts and a free plan option.
