How to clear the Safari browser cache

Clearing your Safari cache resolves loading issues, display problems, and outdated content in Tallyfy. The process differs between Mac and iOS devices.

Mac computers

  1. Open Safari on your Mac.
  2. Click Safari in the menu bar at the top of the screen.
  3. Select Preferences from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click the Advanced tab.
  5. Check the box next to Show Develop menu in menu bar at the bottom.
  6. Close Preferences.
  7. Click Develop in the menu bar.
  8. Select Empty Caches from the dropdown menu.

For a more thorough clearing:

  1. Click Safari in the menu bar.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Click the Privacy tab.
  4. Click Manage Website Data.
  5. Click Remove All.
  6. Confirm by clicking Remove Now in the popup dialog.

iOS devices (iPhone/iPad)

  1. Open the Settings app on your iOS device.
  2. Scroll down and tap Safari.
  3. Scroll down and tap Clear History and Website Data.
  4. Confirm by tapping Clear History and Data.

After clearing your cache, restart Safari before returning to Tallyfy.
