Tallyfy handles the human side of process management - judgment, creativity, and decisions. Zapier handles the robotic parts and connects Tallyfy to your other apps.

Your team completes tasks that need human input while Zapier triggers and actions handle the repetitive work. The Tallyfy connector supports launching processes, creating standalone tasks, completing tasks, changing assignees and deadlines, and adding comments - all from Zapier.

Why use Tallyfy instead of automation-only tools?

Tallyfy covers the steps that need a person to review, decide, or approve something:

  • Human-centric workflows - Processes are made of tasks that people complete, including approval tasks with APPROVE and REJECT buttons.
  • Structured task management - The steps in your template become tasks with assignees and deadlines when a process launches, so it’s clear who owns each one and when it’s due.
  • Cross-app integration - When someone completes a task, Tallyfy’s Task completed trigger can start a Zap that updates your other apps.

Key integration use cases

Each pattern below pairs a trigger from another app with a Tallyfy action in Zapier.

1. CRM-triggered onboarding

When a deal closes in your CRM, Zapier fires a trigger and Tallyfy’s “Launch Process” action starts your client onboarding process. Its tasks go to the members set as assignees in the template or in the Zap, and anyone can check progress in the tracker view instead of emailing for a status update.

2. Scheduled process launches

Zapier’s schedule trigger pairs with Tallyfy’s “Launch Process” action to launch your processes on a recurring schedule, such as a weekly report or a monthly audit. Automate monthly process launch with Zapier shows the steps.

3. Communication-based task creation

Requests that arrive by email or Slack can become tracked work in Tallyfy. An email to support@yourcompany.com can become a standalone task with an assignee and a deadline. A Slack keyword can kick off an entire process.

4. Web form tracking

A customer fills out a web form, and Tallyfy’s “Launch Process” action launches a process with the answers mapped into its kick-off form fields. To launch a different process for each request type, add a filter or paths step in Zapier before the Tallyfy action. Each request is then tracked from submission until its last task is done.
