Integrate Google Suite SAML/SSO
To set up your custom Google Suite SAML application for Tallyfy, follow these steps:
- Sign in to your Google Suite Admin console with super-administrator privileges.
- Go to Apps > Web and mobile apps and select Add App > Add custom SAML app.
- Configure the SAML settings by choosing a name for your app and uploading your logo.
- Copy the SSO URL, Entity ID, and download the Certificate from the Google Identity Provider details page.
- Fill in the ACS URL and Entity ID in the Service Provider Details window using the SAML values from Tallyfy.
- Map the required attributes on the Attribute mapping page and click Finish.
- Make the app available for your users by going to User Access > Service status and selecting ON for everyone.
Now that your Google Suite SAML application is set up, let’s configure SAML on Tallyfy:
- Copy the SAML data from the Google Identity Provider details page in your SAML app.
- Go to the Tallyfy Support page and fill in the SAML configs using the values you copied. This step may require Tallyfy Support assistance.
- Save the configs and enable SAML for your organization by toggling the button next to Add Configuration Details.
Congratulations! Single Sign-On and User Provisioning using Google Suite will now be available for your organization’s users in Tallyfy.
To provision new members to Tallyfy using SSO, simply share the Tallyfy login URL from the SAML configs modal with your users who have access to the Google Suite SAML app.
They can use this link to access Tallyfy, with existing users logging in as usual and new users automatically being added to your Tallyfy organization.
