Creating groups and assigning them to tasks

Do you have a task that needs to be assigned to a large group of people? No worries! With Tallyfy, you can easily create different groups and assign tasks to them in a snap!

To create, view, edit, or delete groups, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Organizations > Groups.

  2. Click on the ”+” button to create a new group.

  1. Enter a group name, a description, and start adding members. Once you’re finished, click “Create” to save the group.

Now, you can assign groups to process tasks or add them as steps in your procedures.

Groups in Tallyfy serve as collections of members and guests that streamline task assignment and process management while automatically handling membership changes when people join or leave the organization.

Edit Task > Assign members or guests after launching

Members can be assigned to tasks through various methods in Tallyfy, including template assignments, process launch assignments, and direct task assignments, ensuring clear responsibility allocation and workflow efficiency.

Guests > Assign tasks to guests

Tasks can be assigned to guests by selecting “Guest” or entering their email in the Assign tab, during process launch, through task comments using ‘+email’, or after launching a process via the assignee dropdown menu.

Actions > Automate task assignments

Assignment actions dynamically manage task assignees by either adding additional people or replacing existing assignees when specific conditions are met in a workflow.
