When something goes wrong on a task, the person working on it reports a problem in the task's comments. Everyone assigned to the task is told, and the task stays open until the problem is resolved. A person then fixes the template, and new processes launched from it use the fix.

Can people outside our company take part in a process?
Yes. Assign a step to their email address, and they join as a guest. A guest opens the task from a secure link, with no account or login, and sees only that task. Guests are free and unlimited (subject to reasonable use), and each guest task also has an assignee inside your company.
