Basecamp is a project management tool. Each project gets its own space, and you can invite clients into it as well as your team. If you start the same kind of project often, you can save one as a template and reuse it.
What is Tallyfy?
Tallyfy is a workflow tool for work that repeats. You write the process once as a template and launch it for each new case, and each run is tracked on its own. A step can also stay open until everyone assigned to it has finished their part.
When is process management a better fit than project management?
When the same work happens again and again. A project is planned once and then closed. A process, like onboarding a customer, comes around every time a new case arrives, so each new case can follow the same steps. Work that changes every time is better planned as a project.
Does Tallyfy price differently by country?
Yes. Under our Fair Price Guarantee, an organization in an eligible country can apply for a lower price, based on regional GDP per capita. It needs an annual plan with most of its users in that country, and each discount is at our discretion.
How does Tallyfy handle process improvement?
The people running a process tell you what's wrong while they work. They can flag a problem on a task, which alerts everyone assigned to it, or suggest a change in a comment on the step. A person then updates the template, and every process launched after that follows the new steps.
How does Tallyfy use AI?
AI does single steps inside a process you've defined. You can connect your own ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot account so it completes a step, and a computer AI agent you connect can do a step on screen by clicking and typing.
How many projects can I run in Basecamp?
It depends on the plan. The free plan allows 1 project. Freelancer allows 3 active projects at once, Studio 10 and Pro 25, and archived or deleted projects don't count toward those limits. The Unlimited plan has no limit. If you start a new project for every client or case, count how many will be active at the same time.
