Here’s why people don’t like RocketLane
These reviews have been double-checked and verified
The features and set up can be a bit manual at times which makes onboarding this tool move slower than I would like. I wish some of the features were more intuitive and more UI focused. Customer facing interfacing is lacking in ease of use and can create bottlenecks. Support team is overseas and creates a less than seamless experience in terms of trying to resolve issues quickly. Our renewal experience felt rushed and we had very little engagement from our CSM leading up to it.
Rocket Lane review on G2
The software is not very user-friendly.
Rocket Lane review on G2
Some of the design can be a little counterintuitive and focused too intently on individual tasks, making it difficult to do large updates.
Rocket Lane review on Capterra
Slow load times; You need to refresh a page every time you make changes; No export/download options for custom reports.
Rocket Lane review online
It’s a real clunker and we’ve had to make do with it since the startup couldn’t afford any other tool.
Rocket Lane review on Reddit
Rbac missing, more template flexibility required and duplicate space creation.
Rocket Lane review on Gartner
Cost is on a little higher side compared to other platforms. Customer support does not respond on time and at times when they resolve the query it occurs again after some time.
Rocket Lane review on Capterra
I’m getting too much communication daily on each project even if the task is not related to me. I would rather get a single daily email with all the projects. Person in the computer software industry with 11-50 employees.
Rocket Lane review on SoftwareAdvice
It didnt integrate with Jira service desk, which is a big miss for me. There are so many other alternatives to Rocket Lane that, unless you need something very very specific, you can choose anyone of these. Finally, Rocket Lane is based on the premise that stakeholders will be proactive in logging in and looking at the project process, it is my experience that most stakeholders do not behave this way.
APRocket LaneP review on Gartner
It’s a relatively expensive solution primarily targeting mid-market to enterprise-size businesses. The software lacks native billing and invoicing and offers limited native integrations. It also has a small user community if you need somewhere to turn for tips, advice, and information. Rocket Lane may be costly for solopreneurs, startups, and businesses in the growth stage.
Rocket Lane review on CrazyEgg
Can you tolerate the pain and cost of each person in your company wasting ~2 hours a day on busywork?
Define or upload your template using AI. Optionally add simple if-this-then-that conditionals. Add rich descriptions to capture tribal knowledge on every step.
2. Track
Launch your process with a form or any other trigger. Invite unlimited guests or coworkers to complete tasks and fill out forms. Tallyfy handles auto-reminders.
3. Improve
Improve your process through feedback and metrics. Add steps run by AI. Automate specific steps if they’re worth it. Practice easy and continuous improvement.

Tallyfy does not charge for basic services
Need help? Unlike costly “professional services” at RocketLane – Tallyfy guarantees free 25-minute screen-sharing calls with workflow experts for life.
Tallyfy is the only workflow software whose pricing is discounted using the GDP-per-capita of your primary country. If you qualify you get an even better product with even more value. Choosing Tallyfy over RocketLane is a no-brainer.
Rocketlane is a customer onboarding platform that focuses mainly on implementation projects. While it serves this specific need, it lacks the broader workflow capabilities that modern businesses need. Tallyfy, as an alternative to Rocketlane, offers a more versatile solution that handles all types of workflows – not just customer onboarding.
What exactly is Tallyfy and how does it compare to Rocketlane?
Tallyfy is a comprehensive workflow management system that goes beyond simple project tracking. It eliminates chaos by automatically tracking every workflow step, making it much more powerful than Rocketlane’s limited focus. Users typically save around 2 hours per person daily, while ensuring consistent quality across all operations. Unlike Rocketlane, Tallyfy scales seamlessly across any kind of process – not just customer onboarding.
Does Rocketlane have a discount for certain countries?
Rocketlane doesn’t offer any GDP-based pricing or country-specific discounts. In contrast, Tallyfy shows real understanding of global markets by offering lifetime discounts up to 90% based on each country’s GDP per capita. This makes Tallyfy much more accessible and fair for teams worldwide.
Is Rocketlane owned by venture capitalists?
Yes, Rocketlane is heavily funded by venture capital, which often means pressure for quick returns and potential changes in direction. Tallyfy maintains independence and focuses purely on customer needs rather than investor demands.
How does Tallyfy handle process improvement?
Tallyfy excels at process improvement with its elegant feedback system. Users can leave comments directly within workflows, which go straight to process owners for review. This creates a continuous improvement cycle that’s missing in Rocketlane’s more rigid structure.
How does AI integration differ between Tallyfy and Rocketlane?
Tallyfy takes a practical approach to AI, integrating it meaningfully into workflows rather than just adding a generic chatbot. It can automatically process uploaded SOPs and documents, and supports computer vision AI for mouse and keyboard automation. Rocketlane’s AI capabilities are more limited and less practical for daily use.
What are the main problems with Rocketlane?
Rocketlane’s narrow focus on customer onboarding limits its usefulness for other workflows. Users report issues with inflexible templates, limited customization options, and complex pricing tiers. The platform can feel overwhelming for simple processes, unlike Tallyfy’s intuitive approach to workflow management.
How does conditional branching compare between the platforms?
While Rocketlane offers basic conditional logic, Tallyfy provides more sophisticated branching capabilities that can handle complex decision trees and multiple workflow paths. This makes Tallyfy more suitable for real-world scenarios where processes aren’t always linear.
Where can I see customer reviews of Tallyfy?
You can read authentic customer reviews and success stories at Tallyfy’s customer stories page. These reviews showcase real experiences from various industries and use cases.
Does Tallyfy offer free professional services?
