Set up their personalized onboarding checklist with all required training, meetings, and setup tasks. Assign due dates and responsible people. A clear task list helps new hires know exactly what they need to do and by when.

Schedule onboarding activities

Book orientation sessions, team introductions, and training on their calendar before day one. Coordinate with IT for equipment setup, facilities for badge access, and their manager for the first week plan. Do not leave them sitting around with nothing to do.
