One-Off Tasks

Tasks Outside of Processes

Not all work fits into a predefined process. One-off tasks let you assign and track individual work items without creating a full template.

What are One-Off Tasks?

One-off tasks are standalone tasks that:

  • Do not belong to a process template
  • Are created for specific, one-time needs
  • Can be assigned to anyone in your organization
  • Are tracked just like process tasks

When to Use One-Off Tasks

Create one-off tasks for:

  • Ad-hoc requests that do not repeat
  • Quick assignments between team members
  • Follow-ups from meetings or conversations
  • Personal reminders with accountability
  • Work that does not fit existing templates
